Planning to attend the Winter Career and Internship Fair on January 24? Come to the Career Fair Prep Night to ensure you make the most of your career fair prospects. A career advisor will be sharing advice on what to bring, what to say, what to wear, and how to follow up with employers, among many other tips for career fair success. There will be time set aside for individual questions at the end of the session. Don't show up to the fair unprepared and blow your shot at an amazing position! Panelists will share their experiences abroad; provide tips on how to maximize your time here at IU, and offer strategies for Americans seeking international work and jobs related to foreign language skills. There will be time set aside to network with the panelists and other students with similar goals and interests. This night should be especially useful for students in international studies, area studies, languages, journalism, and other majors focused on global careers.

Networking Nights is a collaborative event hosted by the IU Career Development Center and the IU Student Alumni Association. It is a night created to provide students the opportunity to learn the art of networking through interaction with professionals in their field of interest. Please join IU Alumni and professionals from various sales industries for an evening of networking. Guest speakers will participate in a panel discussion focusing on their career paths, organizational opportunities, and sharing advice for students entering the world-of-work. An introduction to networking will follow with light refreshments and the opportunity to mingle with the guest speakers.

Peace Corps service offers some excellent benefits: student loan deferral, full medical and dental coverage, a living stipend, a readjustment allowance of $7,425 upon completion of service, graduate school opportunities, and 24 vacation days a year.
