Description:  Come celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year on Saturday, January 21st at the Monroe County Public Library from 2-4pm. The Asian Culture Center in cooperation with the Monroe County Public Library, will host a celebration involving cultural performances & entertainment, dragon-themed crafts, and traditional food. We would like to invite everyone to participate and join us during this celebration to ring in the New Year.  The Dragon is the fifth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 Animal signs. The Dragon is a creature of myth and legend.  In ancient China, the celestial Dragon represents an emperor and power. Today, it is the ultimate auspicious symbol signifying success and happiness.  May the celestial Dragon bring good luck to all.
