By now you should have all received the official email about the Alumni-Only job fair that IU is participating in next week (July 19) at the Indiana Convention Center. Registration ends Monday at noon, and new employers have been registering each day! Cook Medical, Honda, OrthoIndy, Sharp Business Systems and Tri Medx to name a few...(and these are in addition to the already-announced Angie's List, Caterpillar, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo - Frito-Lay, Reid Hospital & Health Care Services, Sony DADC, Stanley Black & Decker, Steak n Shake, Vera Bradley Designs, and Zimmer, Inc - be sure to see the website below for the full list). We'll also be having short resume workshops going on throughout the day - sign up will be at the door.
If you live near Indianapolis and are trying to decide whether or not to join us, JOIN US! Because of the nature of the fair (being alumni only, and alumni of just certain universities), you won't find the overcrowding that you find at most job fairs. You'll have ample time to visit with employers - we always receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from both job seekers and employers.
