IUAA Internship Opportunity: The Indiana University Alumni Association’s Director of Diversity Programs seeks an intern for the fall semester of 2013. Position available immediately. Position Description: The successful candidate will have opportunity to network with a diverse set of alumni of various ethnicities (i.e. African American, Latino, and Asian) and alumni from the unit areas within the division of Diversity, Equity and Multicultural Affairs (DEMA). As the IUAA is seeking to attract more underrepresented young alumni, the selected intern should have strong skill sets in the area of student engagement and networking. On occasion, the intern will prepare alumni communications (e-newsletters, press releases, e-blasts, social networking messages, etc.) for distribution and posting on various websites. Intern will assist with marketing and intra-campus projects that may include planning regional events and researching and compiling data from on-line surveys. |
QUALIFICATIONS: Individual should possess sound work ethics, and excellent writing, communication, and self-managing skills. Prefer student currently enrolled in journalism, communications or marketing. Minority applicants strongly urged to apply.
