The Center on American and Global Security is pleased to
announce that, in cooperation with SPEA, we will be hosting our first talk of
the Spring 2013 semester:
On Feb 1 at 5:30 p.m. in Fine Arts 102, Michael Desch
will be presenting "What Do Policymakers Want From Us? Preliminary
Results from a Survey of Current and Former National Security Decision
Makers." (The poster for this talk is attached.)
Michael Desch is Professor and Chair of the Department of
Political Science at Notre Dame. Among Prof. Desch's publications are Power
and Military Effectiveness: The Fallacy of Democratic Triumphalism, Civilian
Control of the Military: The Changing Security Environment, and When
the Third World Matters: Latin America and United States Grand Strategy.
