Bloomington Celtic Cultural Weekend April 12-14

A Chairde, Dear Friends-

Our Irish language immersion event, Bloomington Celtic Culture Weekend, is just around the corner. Attached you will find registration forms (in doc and pdf). This is our 5th annual event and we'd love for you to be a part of it.

Who will be there?
Irish learners of all levels, experienced Irish language instructors, guest lecturers and performers.

What will we do?
There will be 10+ hours of Irish language instruction, attend workshops & lectures, have music sessions, play games, and enjoy the craic.

Why should I come to an immersion weekend?
It's a great way to learn, practice, and speak Irish-Gaelic with others. It's a spectacular way to meet people who share your interests, develop friendships, and identify people who will be a part of your travelling Gaeltacht.

Where is it? We will be based out of the Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E. 7th Street, Bloomington, Indiana (imu.indiana.edu). Bloomington is about 4 hours southeast of Chicago, 1.5 hour northwest of Louisville, and 2.5 hours from Cincinnati. If you haven't been to Bloomington before, it's a great time of year to enjoy the emerging spring season. If you'd like to stay at IMU Biddle Hotel & conference center, use the code for our room block, CCW13.

When is it? April 12-14, 2013. We begin activities Friday evening and wrap up early on Sunday afternoon (details forthcoming). Take advantage of early registration- complete your registration by 1/17/13 to take advantage of the discounted rate of $100.

How do I sign up? Just complete the attached form and send it back to us via e-mail or US mail. Don't hesitate to contact me on my personal e-mail IndianaDevin@gmail.com or phone 812-325-8016 and I'll gladly answer any questions you have about the event.

***Discounts***
Muc Ghuine- This guinea pig discount is available to the people who attended our first event in 2009.
Luath- This early discount is for people who register by January 17th. Your early registration makes it easier to plan a spectacular event for April.
Cairde & Teaghlach- This friends & family discount is for people who sign up in groups of 4-6. As you register, let us know who is in the group.

My recommendation is to register early, then talk friends and family into registering by 3/17... then everyone can take advantage of a discount.

I hope to see many of you at our 2013 event. I know it will be another great year of Irish learning and craic.
