Global Zero

Global Zero is the international movement for the elimination of all nuclear weapons. We are proud to include 300 eminent world leaders and more than 400,000 citizens worldwide. An important component of our mission is to continue developing our burgeoning student movement, which includes 135 chapters across 20 countries.

This October we are excited to host a regional Institute in Chicago for student leaders of the Midwest. The institute will contain policy and organizing trainings, sessions on developing Global Zero chapters and planning for the future, and students will hear form notable Global Zero signatories (this Spring students met with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon). Interested students from across the Midwest are encouraged to apply for admission, and I would really love to see a few representatives from your campus. Meals and accommodations will be provided at no cost to students, and travel expenses will be reimbursed.

If our cause is one you can support, I would be very grateful for your assistance recruiting promising students.

Here are a few of our recruitment videos that give a great picture of what Global Zero is and how students are involved.
