Middle Way House is training new volunteers
to maintain the level of service they provide to victims of domestic violence
and sexual assault. Men and women are strongly encouraged to attend. Training
will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 8 at the Monroe County Public Library,
303 E. Kirkwood Ave., Rm. 1B &1C. Future trainings will be held on Sept. 22
and Dec. 8. Domestic violence training is a prerequisite for those interested
in volunteering at Middle Way House and is also very appropriate for anyone
interested in learning more about the dynamics of gender and domestic violence.
