Campus Coalition Against Trafficking Call-Out Meeting

IU's Campus Coalition Against Trafficking (CCAT) is an organization on campus that focuses on the global issue of human trafficking. We are hoping to expand the organization, explore new activities and opportunities to fight trafficking, and spread awareness about this issue.

CCAT is having a call-out meeting this Thursday, January 19 from 6-8PM in Woodburn 120. You can stop by anytime during the two hour block. We'll discuss what we want to do with the organization for the semester!

Some activities include raising funds to bring a trafficking survivor from Russia to study at IU, co-host a human trafficking film series at the IU Cinema, and help bring Damien Cave from The New York Times to speak about human trafficking. Other ideas are always welcome!

Human trafficking is prevalent in every state and, at least indirectly, affects most of our lives. Whether you have an extensive knowledge of human trafficking or have never heard of it, we would love for you to check out CCAT!

Please email Emily Barbe at ebarbe@indiana.edu with any questions or comments!
