I'm contacting you on behalf of LIVFund [<http://www.livfund.org/>], a brand new non-profit organization, to inform you of a scholarship opportunity available to those traveling to Latin America to study, intern or volunteer, which may be of interest to you and your students.
LIVFund will award 24 scholarships annually, in the amount of $500 USD, to selected recipients who are over the age of 18 and have plans to study, intern or volunteer abroad in Latin America for at least one [1] week.
The LIVFund Scholarship is unique in that it does not restrict its recipients to participation in specific programs; students, interns and volunteers are allowed to use the funds awarded to them to offset the cost of going abroad with the program of their choice. LIVFund also supports those who organize their own study, intern or volunteer experience and travel abroad independently.
At LIVFund, we understand the crucial role that university faculty and staff play in helping students plan their academic activities - including study abroad and other international experiences. As such, we would like to invite you to join our community so that together we can help these young people become citizens of the world.

The LIVFund [Learn, Intern, Volunteer] Scholarship Fund was established by founder David Garrett earlier this year to further the organization?s mission of promoting cultural exchange between Latin America and the rest of the world.
LIVFund scholarships, worth $500 USD each, will be awarded twice per month to selected individuals ages 18 and up who have plans to study, intern or volunteer abroad for at least one [1] week. Scholarships are available in the following countries:
Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela.
