Just as happened 22 years ago, when Communism fell in Europe, the world is looking at the map and speculating about which dictators will follow those of Tunisia and Egypt into retirement. But where did these new revolutions come from? What can we learn from the recent past? What predictions can we make about the future of democracy in the Middle East and North Africa?

Persons with disabilities who wish to attend the event and would like to request assistance should contact the REEI office (812-855-7309 or reei@indiana.edu).
