International Center Events- Week of March 21st

Cultural Coffee Hours - International and American Student Association; Friday, March 25th, 4:00 p.m
The International and American Student Association (IASA) will be hosting this week's Cultural Coffee Hour at the International Center. As an association dedicated to create opportunities for domestic and international students to get to know each other, the Coffee Hour will provide one more opportunity for students to come together and make new friendships.
Noon Concert Series
Friday, March 25th, 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the International Center
Enjoy beautiful music at our Noon Concert Series. Our guest performer this week is pianist, Soojin Joo from South Korea. A light lunch will follow the concert.
Public Speaking - Session I: "Speaking Up, Out...and In - Getting Comfortable Participating In Class"
Wednesday, March 30th, 6:30 p.m., at the International Center.
Nervous about speaking in class? Worried about expressing your opinions or having your point of view understood? Concerned about feeling uncomfortable sharing your thoughts in front of teachers or peers? Led by the Department of Communication and Cultures, this workshop is designed specifically to remedy these common anxieties.
Please RSVP by Monday, March 28th, if you plan to attend. This program is sponsored by the Department of Communication and Culture and the Public Speaking Club.
Trip to St. Louis, Missouri
Date: Saturday, April 16
Cost: $40/person (covers transportation only)
Deadline: Thursday, April 1st (fees are non-refundable after this date)
The International Center's spring semester trip will be to St. Louis, MO! Join us and enjoy exploring the famous Gateway Arch complex which includes the Arch, museum, movie theater, and shopping center. You can also enjoy sightseeing by boarding a river boat or walking to the nearby Court House or visit the downtown area and the St. Louis Union Station with its restaurants and shopping center.
Our trips are very popular and fill up quickly. If you would like to reserve your seat, please come by the IC's office (second floor) between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and bring a check payable to International Center. For more information, please email intlcent@indiana.edu.
