Coordinator for Engagement Position

Develops professional and learning outcomes for the individual Advocates for Community Engagement (ACE) to prepare them to become supervisors of IU undergraduate student service learners; coordinates and supervises the ACE Program; recruits, interviews, and hires; organizes ACE alumni coordination; administers program assessment; and provides input and support in the development and facilitation of Office of Service Learning programming. Position entails substantial professional writing and public speaking. Works within the Office of Service Learning.


Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years program administration/management experience required. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently on program development, management, and assessment needed. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to communicate with a wide range of constituents; and proficiency in basic computer programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, Excel, and Outlook needed. Experience with IU and non-profit collaborations preferred.

This is a half-time position (50% FTE).
