The Mosaic Grants Program:
 
Mosaic grants make service with America's Unofficial Ambassadors more affordable for prospective volunteers.
 
Apply now for grants for our 2015 Summer Service Internship program in Indonesia, Morocco, Tajikistan, or Zanzibar . To apply for a grant, complete the additional essay question on the Summer Service application under the Financial Aid heading and submit the essay with the application. 

A limited number of grants are available and applicants are only eligible to receive one type of Mosaic Grant
. Available grant funding includes:
 
America's Unofficial Ambassadors Mosaic Grants: These mosaic grants of $500 to $1,000 are merit-based and issued on a first come first serve basis while funding remains available. To qualify, submit the additional essay in the Financial Aid portion of the Summer Service Internship program application. Grant recipients will be notified of their award on April 15, 2015. Grants are deducted from the program fee. 
 
Qatar Airways Mosaic Grants: Qatar Airways has generously donated a limited number of vouchers for round-trip airfare to Jakarta, Indonesia or Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. These Mosaic Grants are valued at between $1200 and $2000. Winners of these grants must purchase their domestic affair to Washington DC as well as their domestic affair from Jakarta to Yogyakarta or Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar. To qualify, applicants must apply before February 15, 2015 with a note in their application requesting to be considered for these grants and must submit full program fee payments by March 15, 2015.
 
The Bridges to Tajikistan Mosaic Grant: AUA will award a grant of up to $875 for one student applying to serve in Tajikistan through the Summer Service Internship program in partnership with Bridges to Tajikistan, a New Mexico-based nonprofit initiative dedicated to creating sustainable international connections between people in Tajikistan and the US to further educational and other opportunities for young Tajiks and to advance mutual understanding and a sense of our shared humanity and common future. To qualify, applicants must complete the essay question in the Financial Aid section of the application. Grants are deducted from the program fee. 
 
The Allegheny College Mosaic Grants: Available to students at Allegheny College, these grants range from $500 to $1,000 to support applicants in AUA's Summer Service Internship program. To qualify, applicants must be Allegheny College students, complete the essay question in the Financial Aid section of the application, and include a note in the application asking to be considered for the grant. Grants are deducted from the program fee.
