Global Gifts is always in need of
enthusiastic volunteers for the store, which is largely volunteer-run. If you
are passionate about other cultures, helping enable impoverished people in the
developing world, and promoting fair trade, fair wages and environmentalism,
then this is a great opportunity for you! Volunteers provide excellent customer
service, assist in store operations and spread the mission of fair trade.
Attendance at a volunteer orientation is required; the next session will be
from 7-8 p.m. on Feb. 16. Volunteers then commit to work two shifts per month
for a minimum of 3 months. Shifts are 3-5 hours long. Minimum age is 15. Please
