TNTP Teaching Fellows recruits those who do not
yet have a background or degree in education, but are interested in
becoming teachers for underserved communities – for example a biology or math
major who is still exploring career options or a career change. We enroll
people straight from undergrad, grad school, and career changers. Our
strongest needs are for those interested and able to teach math, science,
and special education, but there are also various other subjects
available. More information can be found online here.
Our final application deadline is February 23, but we
enroll on a rolling basis, so we encourage those interested to apply early to
get their top choices in subject area. Some subjects are already filled.
