English Opens Doors Program

My name is Stephanie from the English Opens Doors Program and I am writing you today with a very exciting update for the graduating students at your institution! Our Program has added a second volunteer service for the second semester in the Chilean Public school system!  What does this mean for your students?  For the first time, we have two program start dates in August! Students graduating in April, May, or June will have an increased chance to start their professional career with our fantastic opportunity!

As you may remember from my previous emails, the English Opens Doors Program is a fee-free, volunteer initiative which invites native and near-native speakers to volunteer-teach English in the Chilean public school classrooms. We are a part of the Ministry of Education in Chile and supported by the United Nations Development Program and our goal is to improve public education in Chile, and increase the level of opportunities available to students who can’t afford to pay for a privately funded education.

Please refer to the table below to see our available 2015 volunteer services and their application deadlines!

Also, as a former volunteer myself, I recently wrote an article based on my experience with the English Opens Doors Program for the Seattle Globalist. If you would like to read about my experience with this volunteer opportunity or share it with your students or alumni, you can find the article by clicking on the link provided!

As always, thank you so much in advance for your support of our program by sharing this opportunity with your students, friends and those you feel would be interested!
