Foreign Service Security Technical Specialists: Accepting Applications. Deadline is October 29, 2014

We are currently accepting applications for the U.S. Department of State's Foreign Service Security Technical Specialist positions.

Security Technical Specialists provide support and assist in worldwide technical security programs. These programs for which you will give overall program management, maintenance and support, provide protection for Department of State facilities and personnel from technical espionage, acts of terrorism, and crime.
Potential applicants are strongly urged to read the entire vacancy announcement to ensure they meet all of the requirements for this position, and fully understand the special circumstances involving a career in the Foreign Service before applying. All applicants must be U.S. citizens, be available for worldwide service, be at least 20 years old to apply and at least 21 years of age to be appointed, and be able to obtain all required medical, security and suitability clearances.
