Presentation by Fulbright
Scholar - Thurs. Sept. 11th from 4:00 – 5:00pm in the Great Room of the Hutton
Honors College (7th and Woodlawn)
Fulbright recipient Nicole Harper
will talk about her experience at the University of Primorska in Koper,
Slovenia in 2007-2008 and applying for a Fulbright grant. Nicole's research
explored perceptions of cross-cultural learning through aesthetic experience,
which involved collecting narratives from local artists and expatriates living
in Slovenia. Since returning to the United States, she has completed her
doctorate, published scholarly articles and taught university Art Education and
Education courses. This event is open to everyone. A great opportunity to learn
about applying for a Fulbright and ask a Fulbright grantee questions about her
experience!
