The
time has come to prepare for our Second Annual Korean Night.
In
order to top the success of the first Korean Night, we are planning a much
larger and more eventful afternoon with activities and performances centering
on the theme of Chuseok, or the Korean Harvest Festival. To accommodate
Korean Night’s expansion, we are moving to a larger venue, the Wright Education
Building on North Rose Ave.
However,
with a bigger venue and more events comes a need for more volunteers to prepare
and run booths, activities and games. From July 14-August 4, we need
volunteers to make signs and materials for booths and activity tables as well
as helping with sponsorship and promotion. If you or anyone you know is
interested in gaining some volunteer experience for your resume while helping
promote Korean Culture in Bloomington, please contact us by July 7.
We
ask 6-10 hours of your time a week for 1-4 weeks this summer as well as help
setting up, running, and breaking down Korean Night on Saturday, October
4.
Our
schedule is flexible and we appreciate any help you are willing to give us.
Help
us to ensure the continued success of Korean Night!
