10340 - Tour Coordinator, Residential Programs and Services
| Recruits, selects, trains, schedules and supervise up to 24 tour guides; monitors tours; meets weekly with the Assistant Director of Communications & Marketing to review performance and progress of tour program; maintains office hours weekly during university business hours; monitors appearance and condition of show room; works with representatives from the Office of Admissions and the IU Visitor Center to schedule tours and provide a worthwhile and informative experience for guests; addresses requests for special tours; and works closely with staff at the Center Desk to manage evaluations and access to the show room. Compensation Rate: $10.40 per hour Hours: 15 hours per week Position Dates: August 2014 - May 2015. Must be available for training in April, 2014. Option for 2014 and 2015 summer employment are also available. Resume and Cover Letter are required. |
| Must be an enrolled full-time student at IU Bloomington. Position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail; ability to work independently and with others in group situations, ability to prepare and interpret statistical data; and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook. |
