Study Abroad Advisor, Miami University Dolibois European Campus – Oxford, Ohio


Study Abroad Advising; serve as study abroad advisor for prospective and current MUDEC students; provide advice, counsel and information regarding Luxembourg Office and MUDEC activities to students, parents, and staff; advise international students on program participation and general student visa issues; serve as informational resource to MUDEC staff, Oxford Luxembourg office staff, MUDEC faculty and prospective faculty, students and parents, and Study Abroad; serve as a liaison between MUDEC office and Registrar's Office, Liberal Education, Bursar's Office, Enrollment Management, Office of Ethics and Student Conflict Resolution, and other university administrative offices; serve as a point of contact for student registration for all accepted students; enforce University, departmental, and MUDEC policies and procedures; provide support for the Luxembourg coordinator in the daily operations of the office; assist with the assessment of student applications through StudioAbroad;  manage collected materials from students, audits of student application activity, and monitoring of students' application process; notarize and sign all passport copies for semester students and submit to Luxembourg Ministry to obtain their residency permits; coordinate Dean's schedule for visits to Oxford campus; support faculty led study abroad programs and staff as needed. Stand in for other study abroad advisors as needed; program Marketing & Promotion; promote the Luxembourg program to prospective students to increase number of students attending each term; maintain MUDEC social media and web presence; keep prospective students as well as alumni informed with the latest information, news, and happenings with the Luxembourg program; follow university policies and procedures related to purchasing, accounts payable, personnel, payroll, volunteers, payroll, and participant travel; correspond with students, parents, faculty and staff with diplomacy, discretion and judgment; draft and prepare correspondence; correspond with faculty on book requirements; serve on MUDEC scholarship committee; gather and analyze statistical information regarding MUDEC programs; support Luxembourg website updates; certify Bar Examiner forms for National Conference Bar exam.
