International Experience Program (IEP) Scholarships - Hutton Honors College
The Hutton Honors College is able to award numerous grants each term to study abroad through the generosity of Edward L. Hutton. To be eligible, students must be accepted to study abroad on either an IU or non-IU program AND have a cumulative GPA for 3.4 or higher (or 3.7 or higher in their major). These funds support study, research, internships, and service learning abroad. Please encourage your students to apply. For more details, visit the Hutton Honors College IEP website.
National Scholarships

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program: The Gilman Scholarship provides awards of up to $5,000 for 2,300 U.S. undergraduate students who receive or are eligible for federal Pell Grants. The scholarship application deadlines are October 1, 2013 for Spring 2014 and March 4, 2014 for Summer 2014, Fall 2014 and Academic Year 2014-15.
NSEP Boren Scholarship: Boren scholarships provide up to $20,000 to U.S. undergraduate students to study abroad in non-traditional areas of the world on language intensive programs. This includes study in Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America and the Middle East. The countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are excluded. Students should have an interest in working for the federal government. Campus application deadline is late January 2014 for Summer 2014 (STEM students only, 8 weeks or longer programs), Fall/AY 2014-15 programs and Spring 2015 programs.
