Nonprofit Board Certificate Program - Oct. 11

The City of Bloomington Volunteer Network is offering the Nonprofit Board Certificate Program from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 11. The program will consist of four one-hour sessions, with workshop activities and ample opportunities for discussion. This is a supplement to the orientation offered by each nonprofit organization to its Board of Directors. Participants will improve their understanding of their responsibilities, obligations and expectations - legally, financially and ethically. The presenter, Al Lyons, has extensive experience teaching, writing and consulting on this and many other topics related to nonprofit management. Cost is $25 per person.
