Film Screening


"Infancia Clandestina", Dir:Benjami'n Avila'. Argentina. 2012.

 

Argentina's submission to Oscar Academy Awards 2013; Best Iberoamerican Film in Guadalajara Film Festival; Best Director in San Sebastian, Havana, Huelva Film Festivals 2012.

 

"Clandestine Childhood" is a historical film set in the Cold War time period in Argentina referred to as the Dirty War. The main characters in the film are a married couple of Montoneros living in Cuba, and their two children. With the help of their "Uncle Beto" they forge new identities and return to the country to take part in the counteroffensive.
