Williams College seeks a visionary leader as Director of
The Davis Center, a cultural center with an emphasis on social justice
education, intergroup relations, and inclusive academic engagement.
The Director reports to the Vice President for Strategic
Planning and Institutional Diversity, and will oversee and guide The Davis
Center’s legacy of advising, creating safe spaces for students from
historically underrepresented groups, empowering affinity group leaders
(representing various identities, namely race/ethnicity, religion, gender,
sexuality, class), and inviting all students, staff, and faculty into dialogue
about issues of diversity and inclusion. In addition, the Director will
continue to expand the Center’s collaboration with faculty and academic units
to foster innovative curriculum, pedagogy and programming campus-wide
