Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US-based international
development organization promoting civil society development, independent
media, and good governance, is accepting applications for a Chief of Party
(COP) for the Moldova Partnerships for Sustainable Civil Society project. The
COP is a leadership position and will serve as Eurasia Foundation’s primary
liaison to USAID, the Moldovan government and local and international civil
society organizations. The COP is responsible for overall program management
and development of local staff, including all long- and short-term
domestic/international consultants and/or subcontractors; providing training
and technical assistance; developing and monitoring program implementation
plans, performance monitoring plans and all other required reports; and
providing briefings and analysis to USAID on sectoral issues. The COP will be
expected to interact regularly with program staff, USAID representatives,
political party leaders, civil society groups, opinion leaders, government
officials, members of the international community and other program
stakeholders.The position is contingent upon funding and is based in Moldova.
