Job Summary: Serves as a key member of the professional staff team reporting to the Director of International Admissions within the Office of International Services at Indiana University. Position includes reviewing and revising all current international recruitment and admission publications, including websites, to ascertain the need for updating and the continued suitability for distribution. Serves the mission and directives of Indiana University by consulting with campus academic units and independently exercising decision making authority to achieve international undergraduate and graduate student recruitment, outreach, admissions, and enrollment objectives for various academic units at IU Bloomington, IU East, IU Kokomo, and IU Northwest. As a territory manager, Assistant Directors represent the University at domestic and foreign high school visits, college nights, and recruitment events. Analyzes data and ensures that goals are met; takes action consistent with this analysis and provides leadership for academic and student service units on admission strategies; interprets academic policies and exercises authority and independent judgment in making admissions decisions on a case-by-case basis.

Required: Bachelor's degree and three to five years of relevant experience in admissions, recruitment, marketing and/or related area.

Knowledge of IU, state and federal guidelines pertaining to higher education, admission policies, international credentials evaluation, and student visa regulations highly desired; excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required; ability to work independently, under limited supervision, use discretion and independent judgment and provide complex solutions; strong computer skills and supervisory experience highly desirable.

Preferred: Master's degree.
