Adelante Foundation is currently seeking a Development
Intern to assist the International Development Coordinator with fundraising
responsibilities including grant writing and campaign development for our
microfinance and education programs. The job will require time to be split
between field visits with borrowers throughout Honduras to become familiar with
the operations and work from the main office in La Ceiba, Honduras to develop
grant proposals and carry out other related fundraising duties. Only candidates
with previous grant writing experience will be considered.
Adelante is seeking a candidate willing to commit approximately three months with flexible start and end date. A monthly stipend of $500 will be provided and all in-country work expenses will be covered. The candidate will be expected to work a full time schedule with flexible hours.

their standard of living. We do this by loaning money to women for them to
