Connect with student leaders and Oxfam in Boston this summer

This spring Oxfam America will select 50 incredible undergraduates from the U.S. and around the world to be part of our national leadership program, the CHANGE Initiative.  This experience gives students the resources they need to become leaders and make a difference in the global fight against hunger, poverty and injustice.
Would you or someone you know make a good candidate? The CHANGE Initiative, www.oxfamamerica.org/change, is for rising sophomores and juniors at U.S. based colleges and universities.  The program provides leadership and advocacy training to prepare students to promote social change locally and globally.
Additionally, CHANGE Leaders:
§  Have access to expert skills based training, resources, materials and year-round support from Oxfam staff;
§  Establish connections and share knowledge with college students from the US and beyond;
§  Recognize their own leadership identity;
§  Develop confidence and the skills to effect positive, lasting change, and
§  Are part of an active and growing, global network of peers working on social justice issues.
Accepted students attend an all-expense paid leadership training in Boston, MA from July 21-27.  CHANGE Leaders then commit to work on an Oxfam campaign on campus during the 2012-2013 academic year.  Applications are due April 2, 2012.  Apply on line today at www.oxfamamerica.org/change
If you have any questions about the CHANGE Initiative, or want to request materials to promote this program, please be in touch.  I hope that students from Indiana University apply!
Thank you,
