LA CASA (LATINO CULTURAL CENTER) NEWS

Colectiva Dinner
November 9, 6:30pm at La Casa
The goal of the Colectiva dinners is to provide opportunity for Latino students to meet new and returning students, foster a sense of community and discuss issues that impact Latina/os on campus and beyond. Dinners often are home cooked meals. Today’s Topic – Dealing with Stress.
Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority Inc.
We are the only multicultural-based sorority on campus. Our mission is “to promote leadership, multiculturalism, and self-improvement through academic excellence, involvement in and service to the campus and community, as well as being living examples of sisterhood across different races, cultures, religions, backgrounds, and lifestyles.” We are looking to recruit girls who are passionate about diversity from an array of backgrounds. By this, I mean not only race or religious beliefs (or lack thereof) but also sexual orientation, political views, majors, interests... you name it, we are accepting of it. Through our diversity, we are united by our core values, which are exemplified through our five tenets: scholarship, service, sisterhood, multiculturalism, and leadership. If you, or anyone you know, would like to get to know us and what we're about a little bit better, send us an email at tnx@indiana.edu.
