Need some extra help with your final presentations? Please join us for this great session on Thursday, November 3rd, 6:30 p.m., at the International Center. We will learn about public speaking strategies that use vivid description, clear logic, and emotional appeals, and how they can help you give persuasive and memorable presentations.
The workshop is sponsored by the Department of Communication and Culture and the International Center.
International Education Week
International Education Week (IEW) celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the US Department of State and the US Department of Education is part of their efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States. Mark your calendar and plan on joining this great event on Wednesday, November 16th, 5:00-8:00 p.m., at the IMU Alumni Hall. IU students with ID will receive one free ticket to sample eight dishes and non-students can purchase a ticket for $4 to also sample eight dishes. This is an event that you will not want to miss!
