FROM LOCAL TO GLOBAL INVOLVEMENT FAIR

Sponsored by Timmy Global Health at IU
Thurs. Nov 10, 2011; 11am-3pm
IMU Georgian Room
Timmy Global Health at IU is hosting a Involvement Fair featuring campus organizations involved in international and local volunteer efforts. The fair will take place in the Georgian Room at the IMU from 11-3 pm on November 10, 2011.  Any individual who is interested in global health, volunteering, healthcare, international philanthropy and sustainable solutions should attend the fair.  Featured organizations include GlobeMed and Thirst Project, along with individuals involved with volunteer organizations, such as the Kilamanjaro Education Outreach and a Bloomington grass-roots organization El Centro Comunal.  Professional organizations, such as the Pre-Optometry Club, will also be participating. Not only is this an enriching opportunity for anyone to learn about how each organization is contributing to sustainable solutions in world issues, it is also a chance to speak to a member of any of these organizations to understand how you can become more involved with an organization you find interesting.   Free and open to the public.
