FROM LOCAL TO GLOBAL-- A CONVERSATION ON GLOBAL HEALTH

Timmy Global Health at IU is hosting a panel discussion of global health issues featuring four experts with vast experience at all levels of the volunteer effort. The panel will be held in the Frangipani Room of the IMU from 7:30-9:00pm on November 10, 2011.  The panel consists of Dr. Chuck Dietzen, the founder of Timmy Global Health, Dr. Robert Einterz co-founder of the IU Kenya partnership and AMPATH, Ms. Laura McNulty, co-founder and executive director of Health Horizons International, and Dr. Javier Sevilla, founder of Honduras Enlace.  Ms. Barbara Lewis, host of NPR's Sound Medicine will moderate the discussion. Discussion topics will range from the panelists experiences in their work to how to have a lasting impact through international volunteer to how we as students can get involved. It will also include a Q&A session. We welcome everyone to attend the discussion for the opportunity to hear these experts speak and for the chance to ask them your own questions. Free and open to the public.
