Peace Corps offers a unique opportunity to experience a new culture and language while simultaneously aiding a community with its own goals and plans for development. In this roundtable discussion, interested students will meet with a Regional Recruiter, Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Ukraine), and IU International Studies graduate. Ask about life as a volunteer, the benefits of service (including graduate school opportunities and loan deferment), and opportunities available in over 70 countries. Area Studies and Language majors will learn how to make themselves competitive for service and use their knowledge and degrees to begin a career in international development work.

AIESEC Indiana is offering you the opportunity to find internships abroad! There are internships available for undergraduate students, recent graduates, and graduate students. We offer internships in four areas: Education, Management (Business), Technology, and Development (NGO work, etc.). These internships range from 6 weeks to 18 months, and some of them, mostly Technical and Management, are paid. We are currently looking for students who are willing to intern for this Spring Semester (January-May or longer, 2012). Depending on your degree, it is possible to receive credit for an internship abroad so that you are not missing an entire semester. We also will be offering summer internships in the spring and will be holding information sessions then. Like our page on Facebook (AIESEC Indiana Exchange 2011-2012) to get reminders about future information sessions.
