Critical Language Scholarship Info Session

Attention SLAV majors and minors studying Russian or those interested in language of the former Soviet Union:

An information session about the Critical Language Scholarship Program will be held Tuesday Nov. 1 from 3:00 - 3:45 in room 245 of the Radio and TV Building (located just west of the Wells Library parking lot).

IU student Miriam Woods, recipient of a 2011 scholarship and program ambassador, will give a presentation about the application procedures, eligibility and study opportunities and answer questions.

Deadline for the scholarship is Nov. 15, 2011.

Scholarships available in the following languages/levels for undergraduate and graduate students:


  *   Arabic and Persian: Advanced beginning, intermediate and advanced levels;
  *   Azerbaijani, Bangla/Bengali, Hindi, Indonesian, Korean, Punjabi,
Turkish, and Urdu:
Beginning, intermediate and advanced levels;
  *   Chinese, Japanese, and Russian: Intermediate and advanced levels.
