An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds 1,000 origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. Our wish is recovery and healing from the crisis in Japan due to the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, and the resulting nuclear power plant emergency. Join us in creating cranes and add them to our remembrance memorial here for all that have been effected in this crisis. Instructions and paper are provided at the exhibit in the Matrix Gallery. Please feel free to make cranes on your own with your own paper (origami, gift wrap, newspaper, magazine pages, etc.) and add them to the exhibit at any time.
