Are you pre-Physical Therapy?

The IU Health Professions and Prelaw Center is facilitating a number of fall PT events. Please read the entire list below and mark your daily planner for those relevant to your situation. (Even if you are uncertain about whether you are applying to the IU or A.T. Still program, we urge you to attend the events with Amy Bayliss and Bret Moser from IU and A.T. Still respectively, through which you can learn a lot about PT school itself, as well as the admission process)….

Freshman/Sophomore Pre-Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Orientation (FINAL ORIENTATION OF THE YEAR)

(Freshmen and sophomores only, please)
Friday, October 8, 2010
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Ballantine Hall 228
PLEASE NOTE that the room and date were originally noted incorrectly on the HPPLC events calendar. Above is the correct information.

Freshmen and sophomores who are thinking about pursuing occupational or physical therapy, and fresh/soph who are sure either OT or PT is what they wish to pursue, are invited to attend a Pre-OT/PT Orientation with Eric Beckstrom, preprofessional advisor, Health Professions and Prelaw Center. (Note: This session will not be as useful for juniors/seniors unless you have only just begun contemplating OT or PT, or are not far along in your research.)

The orientation will include information, suggestions, and Q&A pertaining to the OT and PT professions themselves, steps you can take to help you decide whether or not to pursue one or the other profession, and a preprofessional To Do list for those in the early stages of considering the professions.

WHEN: Friday, October 8th, 4:00pm - 5:00pm
(Quiet late-comers are welcome)

We will offer another Orientation on Tuesday, September 14. See entry in HPPLC Events Calendar for details.
