To make an appointment with the International Studies advisor, call 812-856-1816, stop by Woodburn 300, or request an appointment online. The advisor for International Studies is Emily Williams (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Walk-in hours are M-F 8:30-9:30am. Walk-in hours are a good time to declare the INTL minor, talk about dropping/adding courses, and to get the advisor's signature on some forms. Scheduled appointments are needed for long-term planning, discussing plans for the upcoming semester, completing study abroad forms, and checking on progress with the major.
Your Academic Advising Report is a useful tool as you make your academic plans. While the AAR does not effectively track the INTL major/minor, it does track all general requirements (like math, A&H/S&H/N&M, credit hours, etc.) and most other majors/minors. To access your AAR, log in to your Student Center in OneStart, go to My Academics & Grades, and then choose View My Advisement Report.
You can download a major advising sheet from the INTL website.
If you are pursuing any other majors/minors/certificates, you will have an advisor for each program who is an expert in that area. To see a full list of advisors and their contact information, go here.
